How does the Meat Share Program Work?

Purchasing a meat share means reserving a whole or half animal before it is processed for meat. Instead of purchasing individual packages of meat, customers reserve a share of an animal before processing. Weeping Willows Ranch and Livestock/Equine Rescue offer meat shares in both lamb and Meishan pigs.  Depending on availability, we may offer:

• Whole-animal shares  

• Half-animal shares  

• Smaller family shares  
   

Your share may include a variety of cuts, processing styles, and packaging sizes. The exact amount and selection will depend on the type and size of the animal, the share purchased, and your available processing choices.
